JUST RELEASED: World Thrombosis Day 2016 Impact Report Unveils Extraordinary Growth

The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) today released the World Thrombosis Day (WTD) 2016 impact report, which showcases the breadth and depth of this exciting, life-saving campaign. With more than 675 global partners from 80 countries, the campaign touched millions of people worldwide and encouraged everyone to Know Thrombosis.

The WTD 2016 impact report is comprised of campaign analytics utilizing online measurement tools and feedback from the partner/sponsor evaluation survey. The campaign thanks everyone who participated in the survey. It explores the successes and highlights from this year’s campaign, including new and creative partner activities, worldwide media coverage from top-tier publications, and record-breaking social media engagement. Together, we reached more than 2.3 billion people worldwide during WTD 2016, which means more people than ever are being educated about thrombosis.

How can you use the WTD 2016 impact report? As a partner and/or supporter, there are many ways to utilize the report. Share it with your organization, with colleagues and local campaign partners. Additionally, we encourage you to share the report with your community via your favorite social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. Please don’t forget to use the hashtag (#WTDay16)! Share it with your colleagues, friends and family to highlight the campaign’s impact and focus moving into 2017.
