ISTH partners with Stryker/Inari for World Thrombosis Day 2025
Collaboration includes expert discussion on mechanical thrombectomy in VTE care
Charlotte, N.C., United States, October 6, 2025 — The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) today announced a partnership with Inari, now part of Stryker, in support of World Thrombosis Day. The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing venous thromboembolism (VTE) care and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
The ISTH and Stryker/Inari will work together to raise awareness, expand education and promote best practices to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of VTE. They will release a new educational offering, “The Role of Mechanical Thrombectomy in Transforming VTE Care,” featuring a roundtable episode available in both video and audio format that will be published on the ISTH Pulse Podcast.
The expert discussion will explore the current landscape of VTE care, how mechanical thrombectomy differs from other treatment options, the ideal patient profile for this approach and the future role of thrombectomy in VTE management.
The video and podcast episode will launch on Thursday, October 16, as part of the week-long recognition and awareness of the World Thrombosis Day. To learn more, visit www.worldthrombosisday.org.
