Jornada del Grup Català d’Hemostàsia i Trombosi Hemostàsia en la pràctica clínica: reptes en trombosi i patologia hemorràgica

This event is exclusively scientific and educational in nature and was created with the aim of raising the profile of a working group that has recently been reactivated and that seeks to establish itself as a reference forum for professionals dedicated to Hemostasis and Thrombosis in Catalonia.

The scientific program will include presentations by experts on highly topical issues in both thromboembolic disease and bleeding coagulopathies. Likewise, the participation of resident physicians will be encouraged through the presentation and discussion of clinical cases, fostering the exchange of knowledge and continuing education.

During the event, the consensus documents and clinical recommendations prepared by the different working groups in recent months will be presented, including those related to the management of special situations in thrombosis and the perioperative management of patients receiving antithrombotic treatment. In addition, a specific session will be reserved for the Nursing Group, which will present the projects and documents developed, highlighting the fundamental role of specialized nursing in the care of patients with hemostatic disorders.

The main objectives of this event are:

To introduce the Catalan Hemostasis and Thrombosis Group and strengthen its role within the field of Hematology in Catalonia.

To promote interaction between hematologists and nursing professionals specialized in Hemostasis and Thrombosis, encouraging the exchange of experiences, opinions and concerns.

To present the consensus documents and recommendations prepared by the working group in order to improve and standardize clinical practice.

To update knowledge on current topics and controversial aspects of Hemostasis and Thrombosis.

To raise the profile of the role of specialized nursing and the projects developed by this group.

The event is aimed at hematologists, Hematology residents and nursing professionals from across Catalonia with an interest in or specific dedication to Hemostasis and Thrombosis.
