In observance of World Thrombosis Day on October 13, we are organizing a health education initiative focused on raising awareness about thrombosis prevention and clinical signs. The target audience for this activity consists of patients treated at the UFRJ University Hospital, where the event will take place.
The event will involve professors, administrative staff, and undergraduate students from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The activity will feature two stations: 1) a presentation of interactive models showing both healthy blood vessels and those affected by thrombosis, and 2) the dissemination of scientific information via banners and leaflets. The activities will focus on prevention, predisposition to thrombosis, and necessary care, with the aim of raising awareness about the condition and its prevention strategies
