Explore the Highlights from World Thrombosis Day 2017

With your support, World Thrombosis Day (WTD) 2017 was an incredible success. With more than 1,050 partners across 85 countries, WTD 2017 united people around the world to place a global spotlight on thrombosis awareness and education.
 
Early projections indicate that 9,000+ events and activities were organized globally, including community health workshops, conferences, parades, press conferences, education booths, exercise classes, and much more. Additionally, WTD 2017 was a trending topic on social media, with more than 325 million impressions across all social media channels! With new and updated digital activities such as the WTD 2017 Twitter Chat, Facebook live video broadcasts, new profile picture frames, and support from notable celebrities, the WTD campaign’s call to action was heard around the world.
 
Please share your activities and photos with WTD campaign headquarters by sending an email to wtd@isth.org. All campaign partners are invited to also complete the WTD 2017 Partner Evaluation Survey to share a recap of their activities and provide feedback. Survey participants will automatically qualify to win a WTD prize pack.
