The Weekend of Thrombosis, promoted by the Clinica Medica 1 and the Department of Medicine at the University of Padua, is part of the University’s Third Mission activities, aiming to transfer knowledge and scientific expertise in service of the community. Through information booths, free consultations, mobile vascular diagnostic services, and interactive activities, the event seeks to create a direct dialogue between experts in the field and citizens, making science accessible and tangible.
During the two days in the square, physicians, residents, healthcare professionals, and volunteers will be available to provide information, answer clinical questions, perform free screenings, and promote a stronger culture of cardiovascular prevention. The initiative, organized to coincide with World Thrombosis Day (October 13), also aims to strengthen the bond between the University and the local community, offering an opportunity for health, education, and active participation for everyone.
