World Thrombosis Day in Russia

11 October, 2025
9:00am - 4:00pm MST

National Association for Thrombosis and Hemostasis
11th Annual Scientific Event Dedicated to World Thrombosis Day

Since 2014, the National Association for Thrombosis and Hemostasis has been organizing annual scientific events in Russia to mark World Thrombosis Day. In 2025, we are proud to host this event for the 11th consecutive year, bringing together the medical community to discuss the most pressing issues in thrombosis and hemostasis.

As always, the event will feature a multidisciplinary team of moderators and speakers, including:
• oncologists
• hematologists
• neurologists
• cardiologists
• phlebologists
• laboratory medicine specialists
• transfusionists
• pathophysiologists
and other experts.

We continue to advocate for a systematic approach to studying coagulation and thrombogenicity — grounded in evidence-based principles and forming the basis of clinical guidelines.

Key topics in 2025 include:
• Personalized antithrombotic therapy in vascular emergencies, including both original and generic drugs.
• For the first time, we will explore the role of artificial intelligence in thrombosis care — is it a helpful tool or a source of new complexity?
• Challenging clinical cases, such as:
• patients with bleeding disorders (hemophilia, inhibitor-positive hemophilia, TMA, TTP, von Willebrand disease, PNH, HUS, aHUS);
• pediatric patients;
• overlapping pathologies in cardio-oncology, cardio-neurology, pregnancy complications;
• thromboinflammation, immunothrombosis, and sepsis-induced coagulopathy.

Special attention will be given to thrombosis at the intersection of disciplines — a key theme of this year’s scientific program. And of course, we won’t miss the chance to reflect on those unforgettable moments in clinical practice under the familiar phrase:

“Thrombosis, thrombosis! I see you!”
