Thrombosis UK to Host Educational Meeting on WTD

Thrombosis UK, a charity dedicated to promoting awareness, research and care of thrombosis and a World Thrombosis Day (WTD) partner, will host an educational meeting on issues and opportunities to improve the management of thrombosis. The event will take place on  Tuesday, 13 October 2015 – World Thrombosis Day – at the Rocket Holborn in London, and will include expert talks from:

  • Professor Beverley HuntWTD Steering Committee Member and Professor of Thrombosis and Haemostasis at King’s College
  • Professor David Fitzmaurice, Professor and Head of the Department of Primary Care Clinical Sciences at the University of Birmingham
  • Dr. Matthew Fay, General Practitioner at Westcliffe Medical Practice
