World Thrombosis Day Patient Ambassador of the Year
The prestigious Patient Ambassador of the Year Award celebrates exceptional individuals making a difference in thrombosis awareness and prevention. Open to thrombosis survivors, patients, family advocates, community volunteers, and blood clot awareness champions who share powerful stories and educational resources. This global recognition honors those driving life-saving thrombosis education through personal experiences, community events, and digital advocacy.

World Thrombosis Day Activity of the Year Awards
The World Thrombosis Day Activity of the Year Awards honors outstanding partner organizations that implemented exceptional thrombosis awareness campaigns, educational eventsand community programs during 2024. These prestigious global awards recognize innovative approaches to blood clot prevention education across two categories: one for thrombosis advocacy organizations from high-income countries and another for thrombosis awareness partners from low and middle-income regions.
Submit your organization’s successful thrombosis awareness activities—whether virtual webinars, hospital-based screening programs, community health fairs, or social media campaigns focused on DVT prevention and PE awareness.
The WTD awards are reviewed and winners are selected by the WTD Award Selection Committee. Please note that if a Steering Committee member represents an Activity of the Year partner organization, they are removed from judging to ensure a fair and unbiased review.
