On the occasion of World Thrombosis Day, a day dedicated to the dissemination of basic knowledge about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pathologies related to thromboembolic events was organised, with the help of the Falisca Association of Montefiascone (Viterbo, Italy)
13 October 2023 from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm in Piazza Roma in Montefiascone.
Open to all and completely free. It will be an opportunity to learn more about your disease risks and evaluate everything we can do in our daily lives to prevent often very serious pathologies.
Here the specialists of the ASL Anticoagulant Therapy Center will set up a station open to all citizens to carry out free screenings which will include: measurement of blood pressure, saturation, heart rate, weight and height to evaluate the body mass index, abdominal circumferences. A simple questionnaire will be administered to evaluate their lifestyle. A carotid internal ultrasound (screening) will also be performed (to be confirmed in a few days).
