Dr. Xu Ye is a hematology directing doctor at the department of hematology, Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. She is a member of the Group of Thrombosis and Hemostasis of the Chinese Medical Association. She is also the Editorial Director of the Chinese Journal of Thrombosis and Hemostasis.

Dr. Ye received her Bachelor’s degree of Clinical Medicine and Master’s degree of Internal Medicine from the Sun-Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences. She received her Ph.D. of Hematology from the Southern Medical University. She has been a doctor of Hematology for more than 30 years and has been focusing on the clinical practice and research in the field of Thrombosis and Hemostasis for more than 15 years. She has reported several novel mutations as the underlying pathogenesis of thrombotic or bleeding cases.

Dr. Ye has held or participated in many laboratory research and clinical trials in the field of hematology. She has been an associated Chair or standing member of many local hematologic societies. During clinical practice, she has carried out volunteer medical consult for local thrombotic and hemorrhagic patients and held continuing courses on thrombosis and hemostasis every year for more than 10 years.
